WELCOME TO YEAR 3.
Your children's teachers this year will be Miss Hawkins and Mrs Van Der Rest, who will be supported by Mrs Durbridge and Mrs Martin.
Children in year 3 have begun to look at fractions. The children over the next few weeks will learn to count up and down in tenths, look at equivalent fractions and begin to add fractions which have the same denominator.
Our Year 3 Pupils made so much effort with their costumes!
The children in year 3 have been given a short introduction to the Bronze Age.
In English this week we have been discussing emotions and how we use our facial expressions and our body language to show these emotions.
We would like to wish all of the children and their families a great half term from all of us in year 3!
