We are very excited to tell you that on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 September, published children’s author, Paul Nolan will be coming into school to lead an Anglo-Saxon writing workshop with the Year 5 & 6 children.

The sessions will run as follows:

Year 6 – Monday 13 September                                    Year 5 – Tuesday 14 September

The visit links in with the Year 5&6 topic for this term: ‘Why did people invade and settle in Britain?’. The workshop will provide children with the opportunity to learn more about the Anglo-Saxons, key events in their history and engage in writing tasks with a published author.
